lyssie: (Bo and Kenzi are on the case!)
From the last couple months.

Don't own any of them, etc, etc. PG is probably the height.

Farscape/BSG, Aeryn/Kara (because someone has to write it); 200 words, as it wouldn't stay shorter. PG, for kissing.

lyssie: (six says declaring war on love is dumb)
1. Anne McCaffrey has apparently died. I feel the urge to dig out Crystal Singer (I wanted to be over-dramatic at age 14.)

2. I caught up on Revenge, but no Lost Girl or PoI. Also, THIS WAITING FOR MORE stuff is nonsense. BAH. I should have known better than to marathon incessantly. I'll just have to go after something else Also. My brain needs to kick out more femslash.

3. Speaking of... I wrote a Ruby/Emma femslash drabble.

4. I have unposted BSG porn (Kendra/Narcho, though I don't remember why I wrote it anymore).

5. On the list of "Things I wouldn't expect to write" Marilyn Monroe/River Song was possibly one of them. (I'm arguing with myself over voice, and also contemplating poking round for MM interviews to keep her from sounding wrong)

6. I should maybe dig out my recent femslashy challenge responses, too. There are icons and fics and everything.

7. BTW. There are new scenelets from series 6 of DW,
pardon my, er, reaction )
lyssie: (Vera Juarez is thinking about sex.)
It was one of those days. The kind that drag. It is mostly over, though.

And I wrote Paulla/Jeanne porn and was possibly, um. sacrilegious whilst doing so.

Kiss Me/Kill Me - An Antagonistic Pairing Drabblethon 2011 (no one should be surprised that I already added a promt)

Prompting is open until the 25th at [livejournal.com profile] ladies_fest

Day sign-ups (whoops, for [livejournal.com profile] sparktober, as IT IS COMING OMG)

Also, crossover ficlet. Lost Girl/Sanctuary, and more of a character musing piece than anything else. because Kenzi is the little sister Will NEVER EVER EVER wanted, but totally deserves (like, pg for language)

1. SPOOKS IS BACK OMG I MISSED IT SO. ok, it is probably not the Best Show Ever. But whatever. <3 (even if they still can't give Tariq a line to save their own asses). ok, I tried not to have spoilers, but my brain is impatient )

Um. Sorry.

2. um. I wrote Amy/Karen Gillan femslash. idek (it's a double drabble)

3. Lost Girl was an improvement this week (funny how no Dyson automatically makes an episode 50% better). I LOVE MY GIRLS. <3 <3 <3

4. Still not watched Eureka. Or Haven, come to that (spoilery reasons are still pissing me off). eta: spoilers in comments for Haven
lyssie: (Kara Sam WHAT IS THIS)
1. An article on fan fiction that doesn't make me want to eye-roll. It made me laugh a few times, even. (the writer set up an LJ community and asked fans questions, and it kinda shows)

2. Two femslash drabbles I've written in the last few months: As Goddess to King (Pirates, Elizabeth/Tia Dalma, R) and Raspberry Swirl (XM: First Class, Emma/Moira, dubcon, R)

3. Two Blake's 7 drabbles. Cally and Dayna and Anthropomorphic sequins.

4. I need to watch more tvs. Also, Haven and Eureka are back soon. I think?
lyssie: (Amy Pond thinks you might be ridiculous)
Disclaimer: not mine.

Pairings: Amy/Rory, River/Eleven'
Length: 1100 words
Set: post-A Good Man Goes to War
SPOILERS, obvsly.
Notes: I blame [livejournal.com profile] lizbee (un-Brit-picked, for the wary)
Summary: Christmases come and Christmases go. (I'm trying to be unspoilery)

lyssie: (Toshiko Sato > you)
The usage of female sexual power by men in movies to turn them into caricatures (and thus make them safe), a la Jessica Rabbit and Cool World. Seriously. I don't need to be waking from a half-doze and thinking about that (and arguing with the people in my head)

Also, I want to talk about this femslash fic that turned up the other day, and how it reduces women to shallow, vapid people who are only interesting when they're titillating men (and doing it only for the sake of the men, too). But I do not have the time before work. But seriously? Erasing the idea that women can be attracted to each other for the sake of attraction is rather rude. (note to pseudo-femslashers: women kissing women is never wrong, and women having sexualities not defined by men isn't wrong, either)

In the meantime, have some St. Trinian's/Doctor Who ficlet.

lyssie: (Can't be arrested for thoughts)
disclaimer: neither series is mine
Pairings: Kara/Sam, Amy/Rory, River/Eleven
Rating: PG, mostly for the violence. Er, and the sexual tension (if there is any)
Genre: action, romance
Length: 1000 words
Set: post-series for BSG, series six for DW.
Notes: for the 12colonies prompt challenge. Also, for my own smug giggling fits of glee over there being married people in the TARDIS. also, for the part where the Doctor is the youngest male (memory-wise). *snickers* (2000-year-old-plus Rock Star Angel Cylons and 2000-year-old-plus plastic Centurions reborn as men are older than a 900-year-old Time Lord, even if he lies about his age)

Summary: Having married people in the TARDIS made revolutions so much simpler.

Pairing: gender-swapped Holmes/Watson.
Rating: PG
Genre: gender-swap, femslash, action
Length: 1100 words
Setting: historical, not current.
Notes: I do love Watson and Holmes as women. I can't help it. This version is a bit fluffy, though. For prompt 39. Insanity. Also, *pretends her icon is Holmes and Watson in the far-flung future for two seconds*

So, basically, standard disclaimer that I do not own these properties. The two that aren't particularly consensual are marked, and the one with spoilers is noted.
Fandoms: BSG, Nikita, Doctor Who, Fringe, SG-1, SG: Atlantis, Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Torchwood, Buffy, Outcasts, Warehouse 13, Underworld, Leverage, Eureka, 90s-era X-Men, Sherlock 09 movie, Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie
Ratings range from G-NC17, length from 100-...er, I don't remember. Probably 2000? words.
Pairings are noted in the squares.
Some are canon, some are AU, some are crack!, some are crossovers.

And because I'm not so proud of the quality, I'll note that if it's on Deadjournal, it's probably not that well-written. (I'll probably end up ripping those up, re-writing and posting 'for real' as it were at some point).

Especially as that last thirty were written using copious amounts of sugar, Nikita as a goad, and blatant "I don't care if this makes sense"

No spoilers, and only a drabble, so no cut, either. Ahem. Spooks/St. Trinian's.

Ros had never really seen the point in being head girl, but then again, she was rich and she was used to being in charge. So it was perfectly natural to step into the gap when her predecessor left. It wasn't some sort of gift from her father; it was something Ros earned, if one considered a coup something one earned.

Later on in life, she would think back to that first day as head girl, and count herself lucky that a terrorist pointing a gun at her head was frivolous compared to what a St. Trinian's girl could pull.

-f

(ftr: Ros was Posh Totty, Jo was an Eco Freak, Ruth was a Geek, and Zoe was probably an Emo--Tessa was probably one of those difficult ones who refused to pick a faction, but was also a head girl who confused everyone by not taking traditional sides. Connie was a Peacenik. I'm sure they had a whole hippie/peace/love section in St. Trinian's, once upon a time.)
lyssie: (Meggan is awesome)
1. I listened to episode five of Eureka season four today. It has a really lovely scene with Henry and Grace, that, um. It was pretty much a PG scene, but I swear I was blushing. WHAT THOSE TWO DO WITH THEIR VOICES. *coughs*

2. Porn Battle is open for business and smuttyness. The dreamwidth side is for longer stuff. Which is where I answered my own prompt last night Different is Good, Eureka, Grace/Henry Deacon, for the first time

I have the vague urge for Dee/Lee and Evie/Rick. We shall see if my brain manages to wake up s'more.

And I stop writing everyone as British.

Fandom: Fringe
Characters: Astrid, Olivia, Peter and Walter in the periphery (Olivia/Peter, sort of implied? I think?)
Length: just over 1,000 words
Rating: PG, implied badness.
Genre: angst, AU
Spoilers: through the end of season two.
Notes: *whines* why didn't it stay short enough for a comment? Written for this prompt "Fringe-Astrid was dosed with Cortexiphan" (title from Underworld's 'Louisiana')
Summary: Astrid is ~magic~, and saves the universe.
