Ask me my opinion on any character from any fandom, and I will say. If I do not know the fandom, I will say what I think I know based on fannish osmosis.

So, there has been fic recently. But not as much as there once was. I mean, yeah, there's been:
Zeplum's Wheel Has Spun (Pretender crossover)
Shadowserenity and carrkicksdoor's Abstract
Leda's Echoes of Atlanta
And Claira wrote Kara/Lee last week... and probably others I haven't seen yet.

But, that's still not the, what, twenty a day? we were getting...

So I have a challenge. Pick a screencap. Any screencap. Write a story explaining it/using it as inspiration/whatever. Anything goes, as long as it's more than 100 words. Please?

Because I need fic. I'm going into a slump, here.

Action Figure Theatre meme, gakked from nique

1) How many action figures do you own? *considers* I'm gonna go with around 70, since I have about as many as nique.

2) How many collectibles do you have? None. I play with everything, and thus, do not buy collectibles. I have some pretty candle holders, though.

3) Do you have any completed sets? I think I have all of the season 3 Reboot figures. Sadly, there is no Mouse. *shakesfist* Bastards. I have random X-Men. Oh! And I have Talyn!John and Moya!John. And bought Padme and Obi-Wan so they could have sex when no one was watching. (I blame A.j.)

4) Do you keep them in our out of the package? Out. Did I mention I play with them? Plus, well, they hang out on the bar.

5) What's your oldest figure? Discounting the Castle of Lions (which was bought in 1984 on sale for 15 dollars...), I think the first one I bought (that I still have) is the X-Factor Scott Summers.

6) Do you have a favorite figure? At the moment, my favorite figure is Steve the Wraith's cousin, Marius (aka Emplate of Generation X).

7) Do you put them on shelves and pose them or play with them? Yup. On the bar, on shelves, on my monitor...

8) What 5 figures are special to you? Stitch (the only action figure those assholes didn't steal when Titania was stolen). Emma Frost (I like to smack down the repainted Selene with her). Both Johns (stiff as they are). Dot (since there is no Mouse. *sulks*).

MOVIE MEME
1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
...a lot? Probably somewhere around 40ish, if you count off-air copies, 60ish. If you count more than movies... er, can we just say 'a lot'?
2) The last film I bought:
Dangerous Liaisons - Glenn and Malkovich, MWAH. And sexual politics and cold as ice edge-cutting (Valmont is more warm and human and full of passion), and a comeuppance that doesn't really work... And Keanu Reeves as Dunsany. Omfg, he almost says 'whoa'. And the costuming. *swoooons*
3) The last film I watched:
Pitch Black, with Actor/Director commentary. Vin Diesel? Is a GEEK. And weird.
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me: edit: TV shows, too, because I don't re-watch a lot of movies that mean anything to me.
A. Farscape.
A1. Wait, that's not a movie, um... Star Wars. Because you can't keep a good snarkfest down! And Han shot first.
B. Pitch Black. This movie never gets old, and Riddick/Fry is my OTP. With lots of fuckeduppedness, and he was serial killer stalking her, omfg. And Fry? Is so me. "Fuck you all, you die now, I want to live, bitches!"
C. Blake's 7! For the snark never dies! And Avon's leather always amuses, and Calllyyyyyyyyy, my girl kicks ass. And Soolin (did I mention I apparently have a thing for blondes?)
D. Doctor Who. Hey, I can even stick the TV movie here, because it's McGann in nothing but a sheet as the Doc, and he's fab and sweet. And then there's them other seven men (with the occasional Blake's 7 cameo), and their random companions....
E. New Battlestar Galactica. Have I mentioned I am obsessed with Kara Thrace? She's blonde, you know. I fast forward and watch only her parts (and mock Baltar). please can I have a Kara, kthnx. Plus, well... I like the editing and the tension.
