oh, snow.

Um. It is not stopping. And the roads are awful. And. Y'know, if I lived a mile or two away from work, I'd go. But I don't. And I want to be able to get HOME. So I have called and said I won't be in today. Sigh.

Which is just as well. The kitchen is a mess.

eta: Also. I had this thought in the shower. If one casted SG: Atlantis using the gender/racial makeup of my office, it would be 90% female, 40% people of color, and the 60% caucasian would be a mixture of German, American, Czech and Irish.

Rumpole vs. Romo Lampkin

I don't have a long, meta-ey thing to say. Mostly, I would just like to note that Rumpole would have defended Baltar and not only got him off, but rousted out the Final Four, told Roslin off for her hatred of Gaius, and mocked Adama a lot.

Because Horace Rumpole, barrister > Romo Lampkin.

Of course. Rumpole = more awesome than God, too, so the former should surprise no one.

And, just to depress myself slightly, there will never be a Rumpole/Lampkin showdown, because, well, Leo McKern is dead. Sigh.
