sff: random, War of the Worlds, etc.
Mar. 7th, 2011 11:46 pm1. So I watched some more War of the Worlds over the weekend. And it is ridiculously cracktastic at times (there's an episode with MARTIAN BIKERS, YOU GUYS. Also, one with MARTIAN BLUES BROTHERS who then take over the laser tag team DURING GREEK WEEK on a college campus. [I can't make this crack up <3]), which is helpful, as otherwise, it's, um... sort of blah. Like, there's only so much of WotW a girl can watch before wanting to punch Harrison Blackwood in the face. (and that's despite the fact that I vaguely ship Harrison/Suzanne/Ironhorse/Norton in some random four-bodied orgy thing of hilarity that would end in tears and aliens)
2. I am... two episodes behind on PLL, I think? idk. I'm trying to avoid spoilers.
3. WotW, btw, has a dearth of female characters and hasn't managed to pass Bechdel in... um... possibly the entire series so far. Pity (this is possibly why I also end up uninterested with watching more after a time). I do like that they're trying to give Suzanne more to do, at least. (also, I'm pretty sure the show would have lasted two episodes before being canceled in this day)
