On the list of things that suck

Discovering your phone has been off for two weeks, and you have an eleven-day-old message asking to schedule an interview for a position that you thought you'd be very good at. (though why they didn't bloody email me, I don't know. The whole point of putting it on there was giving them an alternative way of contact--they also have the house number and didn't call it)
2. Cherie Priest's Four and Twenty Blackbirds is told from the perspective of a kindergartner. In first person. Who sounds more like a thirty-year-old woman. I just can't read it without feeling annoyed and wanting to throw the book across the room.
Luckily, those are the only two I know of.
In other news:
No, I haven't seen the Avengers yet. Yes, I am a bit "Get off my lawn" at all the new people who are all "Oh, Black Widow is awesome" (I'm also a bit "aren't you all adorable", too)
Yes, I do like my italics tags.
I have now re-watched seasons 1-3 of ReBoot, and while it was mostly enjoyable, I would have liked less "Matrix has lots of testosterone and pissing matches" and more "AndrAIa fixes things and knifes people" with a side of "This is how the world ends in Mainframe" Flashbacks just weren't enough.
Although, I did come out of season three shipping AndrAIa/Ray, so I suppose something came of it all.
