1. Discovering your phone has been off for two weeks, and you have an eleven-day-old message asking to schedule an interview for a position that you thought you'd be very good at. (though why they didn't bloody email me, I don't know. The whole point of putting it on there was giving them an alternative way of contact--they also have the house number and didn't call it)

2. Cherie Priest's Four and Twenty Blackbirds is told from the perspective of a kindergartner. In first person. Who sounds more like a thirty-year-old woman. I just can't read it without feeling annoyed and wanting to throw the book across the room.

Luckily, those are the only two I know of.

In other news:

No, I haven't seen the Avengers yet. Yes, I am a bit "Get off my lawn" at all the new people who are all "Oh, Black Widow is awesome" (I'm also a bit "aren't you all adorable", too)

Yes, I do like my italics tags.

I have now re-watched seasons 1-3 of ReBoot, and while it was mostly enjoyable, I would have liked less "Matrix has lots of testosterone and pissing matches" and more "AndrAIa fixes things and knifes people" with a side of "This is how the world ends in Mainframe" Flashbacks just weren't enough.

Although, I did come out of season three shipping AndrAIa/Ray, so I suppose something came of it all.

AKA, "WTF? I'm finding an animated character hot? Something is wrong, isn't it?" And he's green, too.

Largish, non-dial-up friendly.

So, I've been wanting to ramble and rave, and I hit upon a good subject: Reboot women. They're classy, sassy, smart and perky. Not to mention, INSANE. They're all different personalities and characters. You can't slot in one for another, and they're fun. They get good lines and bad lines and middle lines. They get to be human.

Was thinking about this. If Sam hit her head in the shower, I figure it had to be during 'Grace'. Which means that Pete is *really* an evil robot nemesis a goa'uld, which will be revealed when Jack can no longer stand things and get his keytool removed resign his commission and interrupt the wedding!

Hrm. Hungry.
