Apr. 15th, 2009 08:48 pm1. Comic store DID NOT have my Final Five crack. WTF, COMIC STORE, WTF. (if I have to wait and order the trade from Amazon, I will MISS OUT on some ugly covers, of course) (It is not listed as having shipped this week, however)
2. Comic store DID have the BSG New Caprica manga. Sigh. I've only read the Kara/Sam and Kacey story, but even that has... timeline issues. HOWEVER. HIHIHI OTP. (there is a bit where he kisses her on the forehead, and general leering, and also? Glomping her from behind. Sigh. *clings to them*) Sadly, some of the dialog is head-desk-inducing (especially a couple of the lines from Leland "Man of the People" Adama, which, um, WTF, WTF, WTF no). ALSO? NO IT IS NOT ALL RIGHT THAT THEY ARE LIVING IN SQUALOR, LEE. THANKS. (wow, I had more rage about that than I'd thought). (Helo has a two-second cameo)
3. Farscape comic has been obtained. As has the Ghostbusters manga (I am so easy. sigh) (note: Farscape comic read, and... it's... not awful? I think I'm sorta neutral on it, also, the colorist fails. John and Aeryn have BLUE eyes, idiot)
