*surfaces*

1. Comic store DID NOT have my Final Five crack. WTF, COMIC STORE, WTF. (if I have to wait and order the trade from Amazon, I will MISS OUT on some ugly covers, of course) (It is not listed as having shipped this week, however)

2. Comic store DID have the BSG New Caprica manga. Sigh. I've only read the Kara/Sam and Kacey story, but even that has... timeline issues. HOWEVER. HIHIHI OTP. (there is a bit where he kisses her on the forehead, and general leering, and also? Glomping her from behind. Sigh. *clings to them*) Sadly, some of the dialog is head-desk-inducing (especially a couple of the lines from Leland "Man of the People" Adama, which, um, WTF, WTF, WTF no). ALSO? NO IT IS NOT ALL RIGHT THAT THEY ARE LIVING IN SQUALOR, LEE. THANKS. (wow, I had more rage about that than I'd thought). (Helo has a two-second cameo)

3. Farscape comic has been obtained. As has the Ghostbusters manga (I am so easy. sigh) (note: Farscape comic read, and... it's... not awful? I think I'm sorta neutral on it, also, the colorist fails. John and Aeryn have BLUE eyes, idiot)

4. I should... type things. hrm.

Sadly, not that I know of. Dynamite Entertainment's site is not... the most user-friendly, especially if you don't want boobs in your face.

The Farscape ones are by Boom iirc.

The artwork was about par for the course with comics, and the artist did decent interiors and feet! It was just the wrong eye color throwing me off lots.

My comic book store also failed me. :( I got the feeling from the nice man I spoke to at the store, that perhaps Dynamite and other comic book companies are not necessarily being "literal" about their release dates. He told me to keep checking the stores website, because that is the most accurate way to find out what the store is actually selling.

And now I guess I have to go buy that manga. :)

Dynamite is notoriously AWFUL about getting new comics out on time. They have been since Greg Pak's BSG comic was first hitting the stands.

If you can, buy the manga from a place selling it at a discount. I really don't think it's actually worth the 14.00 price tag. It reads like somewhat ridiculous fanfic.

That basically, they can't blame the civilians for living in their own filth and there's nothing anyone on Galactica can do about it.... Because it's not like Lee cares about humanity or anything. Just about eating. apparently.
