Come on down, it's Confession Time!
Dec. 10th, 2008 10:52 pm1. I have this mad desire to write Leverage fic wherein Sophie is Nate's kid's mom, but she gave him to Nate, 'cause he'd make a better father and all. And it was a wacky one-night stand or something, and they don't even have sex anymore. But, they used to. Yeah, I don't know, either.
2. I have this desperate desire for someone to vid Kara/Sam (BSG) to Paramore's Decode. Yeah, that stupid song from the Twilight soundtrack.THEIR LUV IS SO EPIC, YOU GUYS. Sam would totally short-circuit her viper so she couldn't go anywhere without her. eta: Also, Sam Carter, unlike Sam Anders, has the mechanical skillz to do so. mmm. OT3.
3. I want Leverage/every fandom ever crossover fic. Especially NCIS. (oh shit, now I have Ziva and Parker discussing shoes in my head)
4. Forensic Files has left me with the impression that anyone considered a "good christian", "law-abiding citizen" and/or "good cop" is probably a serial rapist with a history of sodomizing puppies with a chainsaw.
5. That said, FF and other reality forensic shows do not squick me anywhere near as much as Law and Order: SVU does. Visually, it seemed to be the "how often can we show women half-nude being degraded?" hour. I watched 90% of the episode on fast-forward. I should not have felt like I was being visually assaulted.
6. As for the original L&O, I caught an episode last week with Katee Sackhoff. She was being PTSD-woman again. Maybe she's right, maybe she should do some romantic comedies before she gets type-cast as the battered wife actor. Other than that, I learned two things from that episode of L&O: a] Lupo the detective is gay for the lawyer guy. b] women are stupid for learning self-defense and only women who aren't right in the head (or are victims waiting to happen) would ever learn martial arts or to shoot a gun.
7. I said something nice about Ron Moore the other day. I'm sorry, Texas, I didn't mean to make it snow. :/
eta2: 8. I knew I'd forget this. BUT. When I'm bored (as in stir-crazy like a mofo) at work, I hit up Skiffy and run searches on terms like 'blanders'. Which is all well and good until people start talking about Tailhook. *shudder*
