So, I was bored today, at work, and I poked around, and then hit googlemaps (as you will, when you're bored, and someone claims Arsenal and Hampton are the same street in St. Louis, and your brain goes 'wtf? Arsenal CROSSES HAMPTON...'). And plugged in our address and did the satellite view, and--

This is obviously from a couple years ago (the house on the corner is still there, and they haven't started the condos by the Jewel).

But. OMG.

Oh, how I wished to get on and share this all with you, earlier. Sigh. STUPID RULES.

Also, as a side-note, I caught a commercial for the sleep number mattresses, with Lindsey Wagner from the original Bionic Woman hawking them, which made me giggle madly, because, well, in an interview I just read, Katee said she'd love to sleep in her [Lindsey's] bed--which. Dammit, Sackhoff, stop giving me RPF lines! (seriously. At the con, she said, we were all welcome to grope Lucy Lawless inappropriately...)

um. Wow. This came out longer than I thought. (five PAGES long, in fact)

Just for the record, I do actually love and adore the women (and men) of Galactica. That doesn't mean I don't have some critical thoughts on the writing and the plots chosen for them...
