Actually, I wrote all of this last night, and then our connection went down. Bah.

I cleaned up my computer desk, and discovered four books I'm in the middle of reading (huh). Two new adventures (White Darkness and No Future), Carla Kelly's 'With This Ring' (for the 8th time), and Anne of the Island...

Truly, I need an Ace fix. May have to stick something 7ish in tomorrow.

Speaking of which, we get new digital phone service tomorrow, just to make it all that much easier to pay/deal with.

And I have (hopefully) two people calling to say, "Send your resume" or some such tomorrow. So I get to call them from the new number and explain. "Er, yes, my roommate was paying the regular phone, but she's gone, so we have cable phone now. And no more will her creditors call us."

So. We now have cable phones. Yay?

However, the cable box is down. Not so yay. I need to actually call them and be pathetic. (omg. No SciFi Friday if it's not fixed by then) Is fixed!

The cable guy likes comics. And flirted with me. *disturbed*

Quin decided to curl up in a shoe box. Quin is ten pounds of huge, fluffy, cat. She fit. It was kind of disturbing.

Have new phone number, so if you've got the old 289 one, chuck it (also, if anyone has my old cell number, chuck it, it hasn't been active for a year).

Am hungry. Hrm.

Also, someone needs to do an angsty!Lee/Kara video to Avril'sKelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone".

Have interview tomorrow.

Have new phone number.

Why this whole job thing has been so extra-critical and frustrating: Shai left with a week and a half's notice and without paying rent. I owe my parents (and if I get a good enough job, Timey's parents) the money we had to borrow to pay rent.

Quin has again fit herself into the shoebox. Silly cat.
