Hey, Aj. Neve/Jo spam up on the DJ. Is it painful enough, do you think? Or should I go into it more... Hrm.

Been poking at the Marya Firefly stuff. Am amused to discover I actually wrote myself into a corner. Must fix. Must also stop maiming the poor woman. She could stop talking to me, at this rate. Also have misplaced the updated version of Marya and Farscape. Worrying, as it may be on the computer at home. I do not want to loose Marya bitch-slapping Noranti. Damnit. Hrm.

In other news, no word on a job yet. Sigh.

Shall poke around online tomorrow.

Someone just made Baby Jesus cry. They said Anne McCaffrey was a good writer.

In other news, the cat is being loud. I don't know why.

Last night was the time for giant spider dreams, apparently. I had several. Hrm. Maybe it was the nearly-sludge coffee I drank...

Smeg.

Have heard back from Manpower. The company selected someone else instead of me (fucking twits). So. Back to square one.

Just got more spam from the Hoedown list. It's one of those things that could be like a car wreck. Say, y'know, if I actually told them why it sucked so much ass... (subject lines that read: Why the Hoe-Down failed). Don't send me this sort of thing. Because I will sit down and tell you that if at least three of your players aren't playing the same game... One person was doing it in all present tense. Another was using such obscure language, I STOPPED READING THE POSTS. Yeah. If *I* stop reading posts, you know it's bad. Really bad. This was a cock-up, as far as I'm concerned.

And then they had to do some stupid fucking peudo-Alice in Wonderland plot. And I spent the rest of the RR wandering around with Crichton and Harvey getting thrown out of pubs.

Grr.

Wow. Ranted here. Suppose that's better than flaming the idiots on the list.

Must, at some point, get round to having Ryss and Co run into us.

"Ryss! Beer!"

"Ooo...."

I have coffee.

Going through scraps of paper, I discover a few notes of amusement.

Including the following, set to the tune (I'm sure you'll all recognise it) "This is the Song That Never Ends"

True Believers never ends
It just goes on and on, my friend
Alicia Mc started writin' many moons ago
She thought she'd finished sooner
But there's more to go
repeat ad infinitem...

...distracted now.
