Y'know... I wonder.
Nov. 23rd, 2002 03:00 amShould I be worried about the state of civilization when Wal-Mart is the Place to Hang Out on a Friday night for teenagers and their dates?
It was tonight, at least. I must have seen something like 40-50 teens/young adults who were obviously there to hang out with friends/dates. Even in the fabric department.
I now own violet christmas lights. Mm. Purple. I do not have a new bra. I've misplaced my debit card, apparently. Sigh.
And! I have a new toothbrush, and toothpaste, and dental floss. AND, I bought four mugs for 50 cents a piece. They're christmasy, but not too bad. And we can always use more mugs. Or I can take them with me when I move out.
Yes. I will move out, one of these days. Much has to be done beforehand, including earning a nice large cushion so I can do the down payment on the apartment thing. My credit sucks, so...
