So. Got to school today, to find that someone had been diagnosed with meningitis. There were warnings plastered everywhere with symptoms printed, and "Go see your doctor, immediately!" on them.
Hey, said I, it's been almost a week so if I had it, I'd show signs, right?
Wrong. 10-14 days of incubation.
The last day I was anywhere I might have been exposed was last Wednesday. Until Thursday next week, I'm going to be extra-jumpy about sinus headaches.
It would be so much simpler, if they'd just say, "These are the classes this person had, these are the times they were on campus." Then I could relax. Unless they were in my class. *headshake* Idiots.
Luckily, I'm used to light sensitivity, dizziness, and headaches. If I start vomitting or getting feverish, I'll worry.
