Mrrrarrr.. Happy workers....
Nov. 12th, 2002 03:29 amSo. I've heard Delaney is leaving CSI: Miami. Commence me happydancing.
Tonight's episode was pretty decent, despite the stupid promo voice-overs ("as they work to solve a crime with a totally unbelievable outcome!" yeah. riiiight). Nice bit of blood and murder, with several victims, and a little toddler that escaped with blood all over her.
Nice touches were Speedle and Delco sparring. They like each other. And it's so non-slashy, so hush, Kosling.
Megan Donner (Kim Delaney) was in a total of 20 seconds, seen mainly as a pair of hands working blood evidence. Yet again proving she's fairly useless. I think someone on the writing staff has a grudge against Delaney--maybe because they were ordered to have a strong female lead to play off Caruso. Either way, she's been short-shrifted a lot.
In the "Someone's been reading Elizabeth George" section, the whole argument between the wife and husband, and the dishes being unwashed, and the kids unsupervised... Is like a condensed version of what Lady Helen Clyde was doing during 'For the Sake of Elena'.
Or was that enduring. Anyway. It struck many EG chords, and made me note it.
That's not to say this doesn't happen other places, but... The exact wording of a couple comments was REALLY similar...
I also watched another episode of first season CSI.
Dude. Nick's hair is *killing* me. It's so *wrong*. I can't even say why. It just is. It's jarring, looking back from the third season.
Another decent ep, though.
I'm wondering if these writers used to work on Seventh Heaven, though. There sometimes seems to be a bit too much preachiness in the show. Both shows.
Eh. I'll live with it. I needs me some Grissom and Sara and Catherine.
