secret silences meet
Oct. 15th, 2002 08:18 pmIt's very disconcerting to come back from a long vacationy-type thing, and find out you not only missed a fun argument, but can't even read it.
Foul, I say, foul! I would have been greatly entertained!
And I can't be because it's been deleted. I am now tempted to dig out a long ago rant about the DOB.
Sigh.
I'm not as stiff and sore anymore, thank god. But, y'know... Moving lots of boxes of books around just wasn't good for my back, apparently.
Sad.
At least the bookshelf is vaguely clean. Now, if I could just get ALL of dad's boxes down in the basement... Of course, I don't know how much crap remains in Jenna's old room. Though, I'm sure it's a lot.
Damnit.
She has at least FIVE of my Pratchett books. Maskerade, Lords and Ladies, Hogfather, Sourcery, Light Fantastic, Colour of Magic, Men at Arms, and Witches Abroad. At least, I think I own the last.
My nails are currently short. I chopped them on... Thursday, I think. But they are colourful. Rose, dark blue, silver, white, and gold. The gold is 'Greek Gods'. Amusing.
Hrm. And I'm not doing well in this class. I find it boring. And, well, I didn't finish the homework due tonight. Not only that, but we're doing In-Class work, and I don't have the book with me. Oh, yeah, I'm doing SO well.
Topping my failure in last week's VB mid-term, I'm sure.
