So. On the way home from work, I proved I'm my father's daughter. I grabbed a half-shelf from the trash. It's that type you see at Wal-Mart, with the two shelves, and stands about 3 feet high. Missing the middle shelf, but otherwise in great shape. I can always use more shelfy type things.

Dad would be proud. There were wooden slats and crap like packing crates. The scrounger in me wishes to go back. I am fighting it most dilligently. Besides, it could still all be there tomorrow before work.

And wood for shelves is always useful.

I should clean my room, though. It's actually somewhat organised, more just a matter of picking everything up and finding a spot for it. And, considering all the new books I got the week before last, I'll have to expand the bookshelves... Oh, to be able to just dump ALL the books on the shelves in alphabetical order....

Mmm. Floor-to-ceiling shelving...

Not sure if geocrappies will cooperate, but.

Should have all the images that were on the zip for you to gaze at.

About hearing music you still think of as vaguely current on the Oldies station...

Specifically, 'Heart of Glass' from Blondie (right? Deborah Harry? Or was that Concrete Blonde?).

Now, I'm used to the whole 'retro' thing. But.... HoG?? On the OLDIES??

It's very wrong.

Of course, now I can mock the River even more (they're the local, "Today's BestMusic!" station... And they've played HoG during times when it is NOT retro/Lunch Hour/etc. Hah)

Going through this zip disk is mildly amusing. All the old logs and files... I just wish it had the log I wanted. Stoopid computer guy.

The crate pieces are still there. And. It's really good wood. I'm not just tempted, really.

I think I'll probably abscond with them if they're still there after work. That way, y'know, I gave everyone else a sporting chance...

Hope tonight's class won't be as boring as last night. Even if I did get three scenes written for Broken Glass's sequel. And a few for the Kitty fic. Hrm. Maybe I'll let the Sam/Faith story rattle around in my head. Or Alex/Dom. Or, conversely, Alex/Kitty, which really HAS been needing to be written...
