It could be worse, I could be my team lead and have a meeting at corporate hq. at 8. with a bunch of higher-ups. who annoy him.
otoh, it was nice to hear (somewhere in the alcohol haze of memory) that he and the other team lead and our department head have been trying to get me hired as permanent. but there's a freeeeeeze right now.
