Adventures in random movies.
Jan. 22nd, 2012 01:40 amI was bored, so I tried some random movies.
Hackers. The novelty of Johnny Lee Miller trying to play 18 wore off in about ten seconds. The lack of anything interesting or plot-like finally caused me to give up. (seriously, this movie is so boring) Managed: about half an hour before giving up.
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Entertaining, but also sort of boring. And the cinematography kept throwing me out of the story. Julian Curry's cameo made me hopeful, though. I liked the plucky girldetective reporter. Managed: almost an hour, I think.
Love and Other Disasters. I've always liked Brittany Murphy, and the surprise!Catherine Tate was highly appreciated. Entertaining and adorable, and amusing enough to keep me watching. Managed: the whole movie.
sigh. I should go to bed.
