Although I'm not sure I'd categorize this as causing enjoyment.
I went to take my earring off, and the plastic fake pearl broke off the post. GOOD JOB, EARRINGS.
NO LIE, FIREFOX, BUTEARING EARRING IS TOTALLY A WORD. (eta: it has been pointed out that it is 'earring', which is fine. Firefox, however, still didn't believe me.)
That's one pair of earrings lost to the cause of wearing shiny things to justify buying said shiny things.
