lyssie: (Liz and Teyla aren't surprised by your s)
1. I have managed to miss the deadline to sign up for the Teyla thingathon. *facepalm* No matter, I can make my femgenficathon story a Teyla fic.

2. The car was acting up, took it in, and it was one of the coils they replaced in January. Hurrah for warranties.

3. On the way back from dealing with the mixup of payment thingies (between me and the clerk, we managed to get half of someone else's bill and half of ours. yeah, idk, either), I realized that I'd let my hair down on the way over because the clerk was cute. Never have I been more glad it was warm, blushing looks so ridiculous on a woman my age. (srsly, acting like a gawky teenager because she was adorable is just not on)

4. Ben and Jerry's has a new flavor called 'Clusterfluff' and it is terribly awfully wonderful. So tasty. (it is peanut butter and caramel and little cluster things and marshmallows and is like eating pure sugar, really) Also, amusing name.

5. Have been listening to Rumpole of the Bailey at work, and it's a bit disconcerting this season (series 4), as Samantha Bond plays Miz Probert, and she sounds like Sheridan Smith as Lucie Miller and it's distracting (to be fair, she doesn't sound exactly like, just... close enough to cause me to occasionally go, "Lucie?...wait..."). The concept of Rumpole and Lucie Miller working in concert isn't that far-fetched, though. It would cause Eight no end of trouble, until he realized that Rumpole was on his side.

6. My life is so terribly exciting.
lyssie: (Thanos' friends are all dead poor baby)
Take Sins of Commission, the episode of Midsomer Murders I just watched.

Erm, I suppose there are spoilers (does anyone actually care if they're spoiled for Midsomer Murders? Isn't that like being told "Rosebud is the sled"? Oh, well. I suppose I shall err on the side of caution or something.

Sometimes, I'm not sure I have entirely healthy reactions to people dying )

In other news, old lady ex-spies are still the awesomest thing ever.

(BBC, if you ran a series with Susan Engel and Maggie Stables as crime-fighters and/or spies, I'd be all over that. Get on that, pls.)
