1. Still sick. Which is all right as a snowdrift has swallowed the car.

2. The problem with watching Curse of Fenric is that now I've got bits of Endgame/You and I/The Story of Chess going through my head at odd moments. Sigh.

snow. hates it.

We went for a walk--yes, I'm sick, but I'm also stubborn. Not to mention I was out of the soft tissues, and srsly, no soft tissues makes me ragey. And sore. So, anyway, we walked over to CVS, noting various things on the way and back.

1. Even if we could uncover the car, the alley is still filled with snow. Not to mention that the top of the alley has a tits-high plowed-in snowdrift. Seriously. I stood next to it. I'm 5'6", y'all.

2. Most areas haven't made the effort to clean the sidewalks on our street, the cross-street and Downer were another matter.

3. I overheat even in 14 (f) degree temperatures. ugh.

4. The buses are running, but there's no way in hell I'm standing in cold weather to wait for them given how sick I still am. So. No work for me tomorrow. I expect they don't want me to come in and cough on everyone anyway.
