disclaimer: not mine
rating: g
length: barely 1000
notes: this is sort of spoilery for the preview to next week's episode. I blame it entirely upon [livejournal.com profile] tinylegacies eta: the worst thing about waking up so early is the brain's tendency to spout helpful things like "It's Sterling, not Stark." when you're staggering around to turn off the alarm.

1. The concept of Parker and Jo Lupo (and Nathan Stark) in the same room leads to something like the following conversation: Stark: "You can't steal it." Parker: "..." Lupo: "Why not?" Stark: "...it's against the law?" Lupo: "Oh. Right." Parker: "I never said I was going to steal it."

1. I'm going through old notes files, trying to toss what I've written/posted/put into a different file, etc. And I have come across some things that amuse me:

a. I want to rip Scott's skin off and wave his entrails for all to see, because that's how he feels, with the remnants of a five thousand year old Social Darwinist in his head. But I need a framework for it.

b. Someone needs to do a Kara vid to INXS' Suicide Blonde (strip to the beat/white light everywhere) < -- even more hysterical? I have Suicide Blonde on my playlist, and when it popped up today, I went, "AHAHAHAH. Kara needs to be vidded to this, and this is WRONG, but hilarious."

c. "This is your fault."

"Hey. All I said was, 'I wonder if there are dolphins'." John objected.

Elizabeth's glare deepened. "And then you suggested we find out."

"Yes. It isn't my fault the jumper decided to crash."

"Of course it isn't," she replied, tone sugary-sweet. "You would never ever accidentally-on-purpose crash a jumper just to give me a day off, would you?"

It was clear to John that she wasn't buying his innocence. And really, it wouldn't be hard for her to figure it out, especially with all of the extra supplies he'd brought, and his insistence that this would be a short trip, but that she obviously needed a break. Still, he wasn't giving up the poker face. Yet. "Elizabeth. How could you suggest such a thing?"
