lyssie: (Mary Shannon facepalming for the win)
I'm trying not to whine. (at myself for not being bright enough when I'd written it to think )

In the meantime, there's all those challenge comms going on out there, and possibly some of you who'd be interested aren't at Twelve Colonies. It is sort of ridiculous fun. If you do join, be sure to mention me.

Also. Cylons are awesome.

Er, there are challenges like scattergories and word scrambles and graphics, and voting. And such. And haiku. (and ridiculously silly flailing and capslocking, and Team Basestar is currently limericking at itself. A lot)

(that icon? Totally what my face is like, RIGHT now, because I knew I'd have to be a good girl and not handwave things)

Yes, I still live. Tim subjected me to Dexter night before last which resulted in Dexter, SGA, Leoben random dreams yesterday morning. Also, I'm pretty sure Jo McDonagh and Deb Morgan together would make the world go "wait, no, this is a baaaad idea." Because they would get into SO MUCH TROUBLE.

Anyway. Go join [livejournal.com profile] twelvecolonies while I go back to suffering under the yoke of being an eldest child.

I cannot believe I just broke my own rule.

disclaimer: not mine
rating: PG13; length: 2500 or so.
spoilers: through season three. AU.
pairing: Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard
beta reading: [livejournal.com profile] anr was a marvelous, fabulous person who was subjected to a fic I needed to finish.
notes: written for [livejournal.com profile] hope_tang for the [livejournal.com profile] swficathon, who wanted an episode fix-it. I think this might cover it. I had to marathon large hunks of season three, as I hadn't seen it for a while.
