this is seriously going to be a crap day. I can tell already.

LET ME TELL YOU, INTERNETS.

Coming home to find the power out for our section of the damned grid WAS NOT IN MY PLANS. I had fic to write (Kara/Leoben, New Caprica fic, at that).

So, we, uh, went to the mall. *shudder* And then had coffee. And I wrote it out longhand. And large portions of it suck ass right now. But I think the basic idea may be sound.

In other news, my fingers are cooooold.
