For you (the poster):
* 1. Take three photos of your desk area as it is, do not stop to tidy up. Inclusion of you at desk in the picture is optional.
* 2. Upload the photos onto imageshack, photobucket, flickr, imagehoop, or a similar site and post them and this text to your journal, with an explanation for anything significantly MISSING, if anything.

For them (the commentor/friend):
* 1. Ask a question about what's in any of the pictures and the poster has to answer it, within reason.
* 2. Do this meme yourself!

This is hard. My desk is small....

Disclaimer: Not Mine.
Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Parings: none.
Characters: Elizabeth Weir, Teyla Emmagan, Rodney McKay, John Sheppard, Ronon Dex.
Length: 1,500+
Rating: um... PG, for language?
Genre: gen, team, friendship, humor
Set: er... mid-season three?
Notes: This is a semi-sequel to 'Hit the Road out of Nowhere', an SG-1 fic I wrote a while back. It can be laid at the feet of [livejournal.com profile] havocthecat, who demanded texts and silliness to break up her work day. Which meant that she got the following sentences, one at a time: "Teyla and Liz sitting in a tree. Treed by giant purple fuzzy lobsters. Liz blames Teyla, Teyla blames Shep, Shep blames Rodney. Meredith blames all of them."
Sadly, I didn't have time for the last one: Ronon just wants to know if they're good with BBQ sauce.
Thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] aj for amusing commentary, and providing the boys' side.
ps. worst title ever. but. bed.

Hey, y'know, I was thinking this morning that I should see if Trucco was off being a dork, so I prodded his message board.

And. Lo and behold, he posted photos from his day at the California Speedway. (I'm lazy, dig through the thread for the link) http://www.mediablvd.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=54393

I... really wish I didn't have to go to work.

Please don't break your computers making icons an' stuff.

1. [livejournal.com profile] nique and I have tricked convinced [livejournal.com profile] lavendar_menace and [livejournal.com profile] dlly to go to Bristol with us this Sunday (it's either that, or we don't go again, for the second year running). So, if anyone was pondering going, but didn't have anyone to go with, lemme know.

2. Further to that, I'm also going to Dragon*Con this year. At last count, something like half-three-fourths of my flist is going, there are guests from SG-1, Farscape, Atlantis, and BSG going to be there. AND, I need to meet up with my sister and have dinner/lunch with her, one of the days. About the only thing set in stone is [livejournal.com profile] greycoupon's order to be at her BSG panel. Which, can do (er, when is it?). Some of you already have my cell number, anyone who wants to even attempt to meet up with me (as I am attempting to meet up with you and hoping like hell that [livejournal.com profile] rosewildeirish will be a good lightning-rod for trouble LJ-random-fandom).

eta: Dragoncon-goers, who are interested in meeting up, feel free to go here and take Rose's poll.

Fandom: Torchwood
Rating: PG? Violence, language. Maybe closer to PG13? Meh.
Spoilers: all of season one.
Pairings: er... Gwen/Rhys and Gwen/Owen is at least referenced?
Length: 1,000+
Notes: I still don't remember where this came from. Started May 31st of this year. I think I remember there was going to be this long, stupid plot. There is no plot. I have this vague suspicion it was started after seeing one too many "Gwen sucks" posts. Title is from 'The Day Seattle Died' by Cold.
