Politics make me an unhappy bedfellow...

Don't know how many of you have heard of the newest fun bill from Ohio; they're currently trying to make it illegal for a woman to get an abortion without the consent of the father.

It makes me capslocky with rage, really, so instead, I'm linking to Alryssa's post on the subject, which is far more intelligent than I (and has some good suggestions).

Damn. You know, you people who are all up in arms and Hate LJ are still NOT GETTING IT. You keep saying "OMG LEAVING." and "HERE'S MY NEW NICK" and all that crap. AND YOU STILL WON'T LEAVE.

Just get it the fuck OVER with already. OR SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT.

And then there's all of you people claiming that companies with bad customer service and policies tank. NO THEY FUCKING DON'T or Roundys would fucking be out of the goddamn fucking business. Instead, a company that fucks everyone up the ass, reduces the variety of goods they sell (despite popular demand for several of them) and treats its employees and customers alike like shit is EXPANDING and buying more fucking grocery stores.

So, no. Big business and businesses don't have to give a shit about you, because you are all fucking replaceable commodities.

Go read a goddamn issue of Forbes, or something geared to rich people and then come tell me their message is "please the consumer" because it really fucking isn't.
