Oh, Bowie.

So, last night, one of the things I did before SFF was go hunting on Youtube for the video to David Bowie's Hallo Spaceboy. There's a reason for this. You see, the video is slightly different from the version that's on the album, since the Pet Shop Boys remixed it. (No, I haven't died.) And the video is just also damned cool.

However, I did not find it. But I did find a bunch of other, awesome things.

Namely, a Velvet Goldmine vid to it, a COWBOY BEBOP vid to it, the Pet Shop Boys doing it live, Bowie doing it with NIN, and Bowie doing it with the Foo Fighters.

Yes. I did watch them ALL IN A ROW last night. And so should all of you.

talkie-toaster-the-cylon-god (because seriously, wtf?) - *cackles* Oh, Talkie. This came about because Alryssa and I were joking about the thought of who the real Cylon God was. And it just seemed natural that it's Talkie Toaster, since he has about as much of a plan as Ron does. I believe we then decided that Domino, Kris Kochanski and Kara would blow the Cylons away.

And no one would want any toast.

farscape - It's like crack, but with an actual plot and intelligent characterization. You don't so much as watch the show as become absorbed in it. Sometimes to the point of realizing you know more about Chiana, D'Argo, Aeryn, Zhaan, Stark, Rygel, etc., than you do about your own life. Or maybe that's just because they're all just so damned good at it. It has puppets who will make you believe in their reality, spaceships and love lost and explosions and shooting things, and it's just awesome.

kara/sam - It depends. Some days, this means the obvious: Kara Thrace/Sam Anders. Which, really, they're the hottest, gropiest, get in each other's personal space OTP I have. And they're canon. I'm still disturbed by that. On other days, it means my crack crossover pairing Kara Thrace/Sam Carter. Who are also hot.
