Red Cap. So much glee.

I should've done a playbyplay of Payback, but I kept getting distracted.

Little things jumped out at me. Like, oh, Neve watching Roper and Jo being so very close together. And then Neve and Jo and dressing up--and Neve's comment about them having a great chat and such. Neve isn't jealous of Jo getting Roper. Neve's jealous of Roper getting Jo.

Swear on my grandmother's grave.

I also can't help it when I think Jo and Roper had wallporn after the club (not to mention: Burns has always had a worry that Jo and Roper would compromise each other, professionally. And he's right).

They're bad for each other, professionally.

But they do work so damned well together (Roper follows her around, smart man that he is, to keep her out of trouble).

ALSO. I now want to write Burns going home after the hospital stay and having torrid sex with his wife. Pity we've never met her. And his daughter makes them breakfast in bed, but the eggs burn and the toast is soggy, and they all end up giggly and in the food hall.
