Icons: Red Cap, some old, some new...

I figured I'd make some more Red Cap icons, then figured I'd throw out the old ones for amusement value. Caps from the redcap yahoogroup. One of the problems is that there are not very many GOOD caps of Red Cap, thus hampering the iconist. Sigh. Want, take, have.

Icons2: Touching Evil, almost ALL Taylor, all the time, OMG

Caps by the FABULOUS A.j. This is the UK Touching Evil, the one that was actually decent and not a Law and Order: Criminal Intent ripoff with psychoses and shitty acting. And continuing my kink for women with guns (which has long been established elsewhere, I'm sure), I give you Susan Taylor. Except, dude. OMG, Taylor with a steak knife? Hot. Please can I have one, thanks. She can... go out with Jo and Kara, and confuse Ellen Tigh.

One nod to the frakked-up OTP that would be Taylor/Creegan. And one Creegan icon. I couldn't think of good text, sadly. Hrm. I think I've gone off men...

Fic! And a challenge resurrected.

So. Someone who shall remain nameless on my friends list was lamenting the lack of Galactica fic today. (and a few others want Sparky porn, but the Minion Stare is avoidable, for the moment) In chatting about this lack, I came up with the following challenge. Just to see if we can get some Galactica fic on our friendslists.

Please feel free to pass the challenge along.

Here's the challenge, people. Load up your favorite writing playlist, or simply everything you've got on your computer. Hit random seven times.

Note the artist and title of the song.

Start writing.

Stop when you feel like it (I expect AT LEAST 100 words, however).

Don't worry if the result has nothing to do with the song. If you want to include lyrics, do so. But, er... Songfic? Not always fun.

When finished, spell-check, etc, label, post.

THAT is from several months ago, I think. Don't remember. Either way, do it again, Sam. Meanwhile, I give three challenge-derived ficlets. Surprisingly, NONE of them are Kara (well, she's mentioned in one). Helo/Boomer, Ellen Tigh, and Baltar/Six feature....
