Oh, dear, GOD. Again, I shake my head at the stupidity of 90% of the vocal people on the list. They're not happy enough with what was in the episode last night? Too. Fucking. Bad.
It's a TV show, people. Grow the fuck up.
Oddly, I've spent the morning writing emails in my head about Sam being domestic (doing dishes, and things, because Daniel does the cooking, and Jack's not there, and Teal'c merely gives her the "I don't do dishes" look)... I blame Elly.
However, yesterday at work I had the following popculturewhore encounters:
Someone was on the phone with a Mrs. Felger.
A Quesada sent in a comment card.
There was a Mark Wolper.
Aaaaand, I can't get away from the Shanahans! Help! (email from 'shanaclan'. I was SO hoping it wouldn't be... But it was. Sigh.)
In other news, it occured to me that I sort of miss Lindesfarne. I don't know that she was ever a big part of anything, but I remember her as being amusing. Pity.
Hrm. I should... go do the dishes.
Damn. Pity Carter's not here.

Mwahah! A Drabble to inflict...
This is Aj's fault, and as such, shall belong here to inflict...
It's Stargate SG-1, so I suppose I now have written SG-1 fic. Gosh. I'm broadening my horizons. Standard disclaimers apply (I don't own them, suing me is like suing that homeless guy you see every morning in the subway).

Jack squinted in the dimming light. He would have turned on the overhead, but figured that would be too logical. Besides, he'd heard somewhere that reading by low light was supposed to enhance the experience.
Of course, considering the content, perhaps the experience wasn't really working.
He tilted his head, then tilted the book.
One of the newer recruits had recommended this author, her eyes alight with enthusiasm.
Still, he had to wonder: what *did* 'turgid member' mean?
Daniel would know. He'd have to ask him tomorrow. Maybe he'd even like to read "Ravish'd Destiny".

Because. Dude. That's so wrong. And Timey wrote the sequel piece.

Don't I just? Actually, the romance novel angle is aaaaaall A.j.'s fault.
Though, I like the mental image of Jack walking into Daniel's office, looking around...

"Uh... English. I gotta look up the meaning of 'turgid.'"
