Work has been boring.

The system they have in place fucking sucks, too. But I'm too tired to fully rant.

Instead, I shall borrow a phrase from Ryss. Oh sweet Sekhmet on a pissup through Memphis. This job could be worse, I suppose.

Read some Caroline Stevermer. I like her, I do. But she needs... Well, The Serpent's Egg needed more, anyway. College of Magics is bang-up and fucking awesome (and yes, it's unpacked because I had to read the end again. The payoff is Faris' giddy "Lambkins, we will live." ... Damn)

Discovered I'd packed the Green Lion trilogy in my storage stuff. May have to undo that. My brain is craving Teresa Edgerton.

I shall try to hold it off with the next Lynley book. May prove unsuccessful, however.

Found last year's nano novel, too. Editing it. There's bits that are wonderful, and a lot of crap... Gah. I can't wait to finish the editing... Then I'll need a real editor to rip it to shreds again.

Am also contemplating writing a second version, this one sans sex. I could actually show my parents the latter...

I suppose the sex is there because it's hard to do a fade to black in the middle of a conversation. Damn my tendency to do that... Hrm.

Watched Coupling last night. Rocked. American Coupling = Stil sucks; also cancelled. Go, BBC.

Should sleep, I wager. Much to do tomorrow.

Must call Tap. Note to self: CALL TAP AFTER NOON.

Had dinner with my parents and my sister Katye and her hubby, Nate. Nate grows on me, I think. Like mold.

Anyway. Found out that a friend of hers, Lauralee, has been spreading lies and rumours and stuff. They don't talk to her anymore. I'm amused. I *never* liked L. She was always stinky...

Not that that says anything. Probably.

Asked after old roommate Mali, who is apparently at KC Art school. Did not mention I'd borrowed Mali and then killed her in 'Stripped Bare'. *snicker*

Looked for some Pogues on cd. Found none. Sigh.

Did pick up Route 666 #14, though. Not bad, I think. Not bad.

There was a party I was supposed to go to today... I thought tomorrow was the 25th...

Ooops.

My feet are still cold, btw.
