Back from Alryssa's via Timey's.

My body isn't sure it's awake, but my brain certainly is. I have many things to write, inspired by driving, Ryss, Timey, and Reboot. There's something about Bob being led about by Dot....

I highly suggest everyone go read Aj's Storm fic. It's damned good.

Hrm. I should talk about the weekend, shouldn't I...

It started on Thursday, when I got something like 3 hours of sleep, or less. I drove up to Timey's--took 294 around, and there is NO SIGN when it turns into 94. At all. It just suddenly is, without warning. It's disturbing. So, I was beginning to worry I'd missed my exit, or something, when I see this sign, "Milwaukee 27". Go, me.

Stopped at Timey's for a bit, relaxed... And then drove off to Ryss's.

Unfortunately, we hit Chicago rush hour, and wasted at least an hour crawling down 294/80 to 65 south.

Got to Ryss's later than planned, and since I couldn't find my book with numbers, there was no way of calling and letting them know... Oh well.

There were comics found and bought (Footman 15!!!) and booze and discussion... And books and shiny things. And I was good and did not buy another knife, although there were some damned pretty ones... *drool*

Got some jewelry. Must now go through what I've already got and actually organize it. Arrr.

Found two Trixie Belden books I didn't have. So, yay! Ten more or so, and I'll have the entire run... ;)

I had an absolute blast. I don't see either Ryss or Timey enough, and I certainly don't see Aj, Bev or Drea enough either. Sigh.

Listened to David Bowie while out and back. Nifty stuff. And Elvis Costello. And Something for Kate and Simple Minds... Hrm. I know there was more, but my mind is gone... Shush, Cherry.
