Thank you, to all of you. :)

I wonder how much Agatha Christie wanted to be a porn writer. She uses 'climax' way too frelling often for those of us with filthy minds. And let's not even get into the Dog story where the Dog's mistress kept impuning him to 'lick her'.

Yeah.

Steamy listening for someone at work.

But at least it's vaguely light. Ruth Rendell fucked my head. Of course, if I could just listen to Farscape at work...

However, despite enjoying much of Christie's body of work, I have found myself curiously unsatisfied with the end of 'The Sittaford Mystery'. The heroine makes a very dumb choice as to her hero. He's a boring, craven twit. In two years, she'll be wishing she could kill him--or better yet, that he'll die, leave her his cash, and she can go keep the other young man in luxury.

Sigh. Silly Christie. As if we believe THAT'S a marriage that's going to laugh. Part of this is probably because it was an audio drama version, and the two actors were utterly lovely at getting all sorts of interesting tension out of their conversations.

I'm also highly tempted at the idea of writing Marya a Rumpole story. Sigh. Silly girl is all bored.

Went through Best Buy the other day. God, that place is like crack. I could easily spend a thousand there and not even be finished. I'm such a pop culture whore, man.
