So, what next? Is the house going to burn down? Are my sisters getting evicted from their apartments? Will my new nephew/niece have some horrible disease?

Or will the bombs just take it all away before it even has a chance to occur.

I kind of like the last option. I can stop feeling any sort of pain, then. Clean.

My father was laid off today.

Thank you, to all of the people who put into power those who give not a single thread for the poor, the hungry and the destitute. You warm my heart.

If we weren't lucky, I would probably be living on the street. Or dead. I suspect the latter.

Let me repeat what I said, maybe you didn't get it: Bush's 'wonderful' job on the economy has caused my father to be laid off (he and 8 other people out of 12. 2/3 of the workforce are now jobless). If things were worse, my family would shortly be living on the street, barely scraping by. There's no way in hell we'd qualify for any sort of support from the state. So, we'd be just another one of those families that slip through the cracks.

And instead of feeding those families, we're going to waste billions on a war half this country doesn't even want.

How pathetic. I'm sure Hitler is laughing his ass off in hell.

So. Anyway. There's this economy, see? And it's just buggered to hell, because no one has any faith in the person in charge (not that they should). So it falls and falls and people lose jobs, and more people go homeless.

But, hey! The way to bolster this economy is to go grab some oil fields! Don't worry, the deaths of innocents isn't going to bother the populace at large.

Well, maybe a few people might be upset. But who gives a shit, anyway, we'll have spent billions to earn trillions!

Yay, America.
