I will be with you again....
Mar. 8th, 2003 12:04 amThe weekend is here. This is a very good thing. I can fall apart now.
We had, on Monday, two hampers of mail (even without the car, and the 70-year old Buddhist, the day was sucky). We're talking... Hrm. Think, the size of.... the hampers you see in hotels, the big fucking things that hold tons of towels. THAT was our mail on Monday.
I finally finished opening and stamping said mail on Thursday.
All of the mail was stamped in today. I was actually starting to file at the end. This is a good thing.
No news on my car, btw. Dad thinks it's sitting somewhere, abandoned. Fingers crossed, kiddies.
In other news, I have shampoo, conditioner, a green bath sponge, and bath gel. Yay. Since these were all in my luggage, they were not here during the week. Not, however, that I didn't have a bit left of the old batch. Luckily.
And a washcloth. Bah. I like sponges better now.
Gave myself a treat. Bought some music and stuff. Now own Echobelly's "Everyone's Got One", Hooverphonic's "A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular", Utah Saints' "Something Good", and We Will Follow: A U2 tribute album. Some VERY good stuff on the tribute album (Tiffany and Front Line Assembly doing New Year's Day is almost better than the original).
Also got the Ninth Gate and a Poirot episode... See, Wherehouse Music has been fucked up the ass very royally by stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy. So many are going out of business, and holding massive Store Closing Sales. Cheap music is a good thing.
My shiny gold dalek is even shorter than mini-Sinny. This is vaguely amusing.
