Left here all these years...
Dec. 6th, 2002 02:26 pmSo, I'm sitting here in the computer lab, nefariously printing out the last of the Marya stuff I need so I can do edits.
45 pages, Courier New, 10pt. I'm feeling a bit miffy, so I'm not shrinking it and ruining my eyes. Besides. They can afford it. It's not like I printed out a foot-high stack of fanfiction this semester (that was 98-99, I think. And most of it wasn't very good).
I'm printing in batches. Only one more to go, and I'll do it in a bit.
Locked myself out of the house on my way out this afternoon. Oh, yeah, I'm firing on all pistons. Luckily, I have a spare set of car keys, so I'll just go swing by mom's work on my way home. She'll lend me at least one key. Yay.
The snow is melting. This is good and bad. It's good, because I'm tired of it. Bad because it's ugly out there now. And, well, I'll miss it.
I'm highly amused by the fact that the road crews were NOT out there the first night, plowing and salting. Yes, I know they have lives. But the roads were complete and utter shit because of them not doing their job. Even the fucking SNOW ROUTE was unplowed and unsalted. Hello? That's where they're supposed to go and plow constantly, because it's a major traffic artery?
Duuuh.
Was amused by a really whiny letter in the newspaper yesterday. Someone in West County was all upset that their roads weren't plowed. Boo. Fucking. Hoo.
Heard some lyrics that amused me. "Let's tax the rich and feed the poor until there's no more rich no more." or something like that.
Laughed hysterically.
Also irritating about this computer lab is my lack of music.
