I've just spent the last two hours in the basement, cleaning. Yes. At (checks) midnight, or a little after it. It may have been more than two.

Anyway.

In that time, I've come across several audio cassettes I'd thought lost forever (Lush's Lovelife, B52's Good Stuff, They Might Be Giants' Flood, to name a few). Gee. I went through many of the boxes and found them. I also found a few of my books, but NOT the three missing Pratchetts. Much bitching may commence at some point.

Also found a shiny string of stars and moons. Mine now.

The thing is, it actually looks she might have been *trying* to clean. It's just that she didn't finish, leaving a ton of stuff all messed up.

Especially the stuff near the water bed. Which is leaking. I don't know where, but I do know it is. *coughs dramatically* I'm probably sick with a thousand diseases from all the mould and crap I breathed in.

I wore latex gloves. My hands are a bit chappy looking now (you SWEAT in those things! How the hell do CSI people use them without dying??)

My back is now sore. I was bending over a lot and lifting copiously. Should do more of that in the morning, 'cause Mom and I are moving a bunch of boxes to the space I cleared.

What prompted this? Dalnet being screwy, LJ crashing, and my sandwich bread being moldy. I decided it was time to go do something to get rid of my fustration.

Hrm. Bed soon.

Kossie! Fic rec. CSI fic. With Warrick. Decent. http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1092749

In other news, mom and I have been cleaning fiends. All the boxes of books are downstairs, AND the bikes. No more icky looking bikes cluttering up the room! *minidance*

Sadly, since I have to work, mom's going to be stuck doing a lot of the other stuff on her own. Must make her promise not to move that one AC.

Novel is stalling, but that's more the lack of time put into it. Hopefully, I'll get some crap written longhand.

*coughs* I've probably picked up a ton of diseases from the crap in the basement. Stoopid mold.
