So, I was bad and ripped a couple of cds to mp3. Yay. I now have variety in my music.

I'm also debating using two scenes I wrote a long time ago in the novel I'm writing. This is a no-no, I think, so I'm only vaguely going to do it. After all, my characters are different anyway.

The ideas, though. Might use them. Either way, I'm still under a thousand words. I feel... lacking. Not.

It's very cold here.

I was craving a salad. Alas, there is no greenery. And no car to go buy some, either.

Hence, a new breed of salad arrises.

Get a bowl, or a plate. Toss on a handful of frozen corn and a handful of frozen green beans. If you like peas, add some. Stick in the microwave, and nuke for three minutes.

Meanwhile, chop one tomato into smallish bits, and two or three dill pickle spears into a similar state.

Remove the corn/beans from the microwave, and add in about half the tomatoes. Stir. Be happy because the steam is warming your freezing and nearly numb fingers.

If there are croutons available, add some. Stir.

Dump all of the pickles on. Add a handful of sunflower seeds.

Stir.

Add the last of the tomatoes.

Stir.

Decide if you want to add salt. If you do, please remember that the pickles and the sunflower seeds were already salty.

Garnish with a fork, and prepare to enjoy.

If you wish, you can also add salad dressing, but I'm finding that I don't miss it--and it might overpower.
