I swear, I'm learning only so much in VB. If the man would just show us more... Or maybe hand over his code. Yeah. Mwahahah.

This project is getting turned in with bugs. But I've *tried* to fix them. There isn't any way that's obvious to do so--and VB6 Help is not helpful. I may actually have to start looking through my book. Horrors!

's ok. I got 19 points on the first project, probably the same on the second... One that only gets 10 points won't kill me. ;)

In other news, my sister the brat was home today. She was doing laundry. Of course, it was too difficult for her to say "Hi." to me as I staggered past and into the bathroom. I know I mumbled "Morning." to her.

Sucks, though, because she has NINE of my Pratchett books. Yes. Nine. That I may never see, because knowing her she'll sell them.

No, I am NOT happy. She left before I could even mention them. And she hasn't a phone yet, I don't think.

Hrm. Must compile. I need to go hunting Kurt. Haven't talked to him in ages. Besides. He still has some of my Doctor Who tapes...

And I need to go home before work. Ah. Food would be good. *ponder* Maybe Taco hell.

Lyssie smash!

The single dalnet server I can access via java is.... disconnected from every other server. ARGH!

AND! Some idiot in a green shirt is using the ONLY computer with a scanner, so I can't even do anything constructive, like scan in CABLE! Aaaaaaaarrrgh!

Little fucker crashed a computer near to me, too (I'm watching that scanning computer like a hawk).

Fine. Guess I'll just print out a bunch of shit. Like, oh.... song lyrics, fanfiction, and, maybe, some of my graphics.

if not a little silly, in some ways.

I now have more Cables and Dominos than I know what to do with. For now. And they're all on my Topcities account. Everyone cross your fingers that they won't crash before I can get them on the home computer...

The irritating thing, of course, was the idiot in green sitting next to me the whole time. I'm sure he was highly amused by the geek scanning in her comics.

I'm also saddened that I couldn't scan in the whole of some issues... Cable #25, for instance, or The Onslut one with Nate and Dom in the warehouse, where it's all dark. Mmm. good art.

I might be sated, for now. Do need to scan in more 25 at another time, but I'm at the point where I'm not scanning anything...

There's only so many Cable Angry, Cable Sideways, and Cable half-nekkid shots I can scan before they become redundant.

Got some good ones, though. chee.

All hail Churchill. Even when he thinks all women have lots and lots of hair.

DUDE!

My professor in VB has met Tom Baker and Louise Jamison. Damn. Now I'm jealous. Arg!

They were at a con here in St. Louis, in the 80s. And he's seen Tom on the stage. I imagine that was a very interesting experience.

Bah. And I've downloaded mirc.

BAD Lyssie!
