I'm back to lots of rubber bands on my boot again. Glue went. Again. Sigh. Well, this job lasted almost two weeks.

I suppose it's because we've gotten almost cold air out there right now. Things go wrong, the weather gets better. Kind of like clockwork.

Class was yet again a snoozefest. Although now we have computers. Yay. I spent most of it pulling stuff off my zip disk, and then when I got really bored, tormenting the guy next to me by typing a lot.

Oh. And going through archives for my own fic. Interesting. So far, 73 stories. I feel old.

Should have my program done tomorrow. And, hopefully, the next week's one, too. Hee.

Repainted my nails since I was tired of the gold. They're now shiny rose. Yeah, blah, but it's not plain, and it's not gold. And this was the only other bottle I could find.

Methinks it might be time to finish that long overdue room cleaning... Tomorrow.

You know, I declared it hug someone you care for day, in #subcafe.

And I have to admit, I feel less homicidal after I've been hugged.

This might not always work for everyone, however.

I think one of the things I like about having been involved with fanfiction is watching people come in and grow as writers. Take Timey, for instance. Some of her early stuff is brilliant, but everything lately has been fabulous. Most of the early stuff is short. Mercury is not. *smirk*

Printing out the first four stories of TT&T is like printing out all of Another Old Lang Syne.

Sensing a pattern? It's been interesting to watch her style grow, and her stories get longer and longer.

Or Em. Em's another one who started out a loooong time ago. Sadly, she doesn't write often anymore. When she did, they were short little pieces that usually packed a punch. Whether horrific, amusing, or some other emotion. They were always good.

I'm feeling oddly introspective. Maybe it's the AC. Or the fact that it's nearly fall again.

Fall. Late September, then October... The years go faster and faster the older I get. It barely seems to have been May and now it's September.

Although I'll admit this year seemed to pass by slowly at times. Not much, though.

I think I'm just bored.

Or maybe irritated, since there's nowhere to plug in my headphones, and all the computers have cd trays. Idiots.
