Wow. The computer. I can use it. Yay.

So, y'know, I went gallivanting off on Saturday, with dad saying he needed the computer. Well, nine hours later (much fun with Jensilla, and then Buffy at Taps'), I come home to find him... just. starting.

Nine hours, you know? And he's just starting.

Pissed probably covers it. Sunday, I worked. Monday, I worked... You get the idea. I was at home, dad was on the computer. I wzs at work, he wasn't (since he works the same shift I do). I couldn't fucking win.

So. Spent the last several days making my way through the Night Threads books by Ru Emerson. Decent books, unfortunately she didn't have an editor on the last two, AND, she needed to spread it out more--it all felt like an outline, an overview, not an actual plot/story.

More later. I'm revelling in the newness... God, I don't want to think about how much email I've got.

So, anyway, now that I have computer access again. Am I being all posty? No, I'm not.

I'm vaguely hoping I haven't picked up too much of Chris' way of speaking.

My dreams have been increasingly interesting, though. Comes of reading right up until I sleep, I guess. Of course, this last book left way too many holes, so my brain was trying to do logical stuff.

As Chris would say, Logic it out.

Sad, really.

Of course, my dreams weren't just NightThreads related. They also were part Pretender/Undressed related. And wasn't THAT just fucked up.

Watching the Pretender, though. The early stuff, anyway, they really weren't sure what they wanted to do with Miss Parker. Then, of course, someone obviously said, "Make her sympathetic!" Which they did. Sad wankers.

Hrm. There's mouldy coffee next to the tower.

And Stryfe in the candleholder.

Should go. Need to buy actual food. Woman does not live on ramen alone. Expecially not after four days of it.
