Dad needed the computer. I'm not entirely certain why, but I think it had something to do with his job. As always, I tacked on 3 hours to his stated time. He said 2 hours, I heard 5. And it took him 6. It's not an exact science, yet.
But in the meantime, I sorted through material and patterns, finding the cape pattern. And my bodice one, too. Hrm.
Cut out Drea's cape. It's a lot of red velvety stuff now. In pieces. Hopefully, I'll have no trouble putting it together. Just have to decide if I want to do silver braid down the front or not. Hrm. And arm thingies. Need to remember to make sure there are some.
Y'know, cutting out would have gone faster, but Lauren was utterly fascinated by the pins... Silly cat. Luckily, she punctured not the pattern pieces.
Am thinking of making a vampy costume for WW. For Friday, of course. Can't be an angel the whole time.
Besides, I should make things while my mind and hands want to.
We are now the proud owners of a DVD player. Yay.
I should sleep soon.
