It's suicide, something's missing
Jun. 8th, 2002 05:14 pmDid some shopping today. Have fabric. Lots. Almost got lost in the first store, because the velvet is on racks, and it was so snuggly and cuddly, and... It tried to suck me in. If I didn't have the strong willpower I do, I would not be here typing.
My hands were shiny with glitter, thanks to some of the fabric I was touching. I probably touched every bolt that looked soft, and snuggled all the ones that were.
Yes. I like soft things.
Found white shinyish stuff for the sleeves, and gold gauzey stuff for the pants insets. And for the undershirt. Also discovered nice shiny gold nail polish. Woo.
The pleather was very tempting, except I have no pattern for it, and no sewing machine. Could make it difficult to use, sadly.
Broke down in JoAnn Fabrics, though. Bought some dark green stuff that I have absolutely no use for. And some black shiny stuff. We'll see.
Was expecting to spend almost 10 in JoAnn... There's a sale, though. I spent 4.

I am also now the proud owner of Evolution Cyclops, with Flip-You off wave, and light-up visor. He's got very large feet... I also bagged movieverse Wolvie and Mags. 'Neto is nifty.
Anyway. Must dash.

Been writing. Original stuff, for once. Semi-original, since it's based in a world rather similar to LKH's. Except. No vampire-hunting. Anyway. Is rather fun. Also got some Marya written. Dropped her onto the end of third season Pretender. Literally... I'm such a weirdo.
At least I didn't write 'Road Trip', though. I swear, that episode is SO a MS....
