So. I'm sure at least some of you vaguely remember that we've got a storage-space shortage on our hard drive. Now, I've been trying to wittle it down by uploading my mp3s elsewhere, AND, by not ripping any new ones. Even though I'd like to, sometimes.

Well, tonight, I decided to rip one. Depeche Mode's "Somebody". For, really, Timey. Because I'd found the lyrics, and they're rather Dom'n'Cable-like (as is much of DM lyrics, but that's a digression).

I use Cdex, a nice little program that never causes the computer to crash, like, say, winamp does. But I never bothered to give it a shortcut on the main programs menu, so I usually just do a search for it (CuteFTP is that way, too).

The usual search turns up no Cdex. Cue me going, "Huh?" and looking perturbed.

Cue me remembering almost deleting the trash earlier, since it was looking full (an inanimate icon, yes. Don't ask for logic).

I open the trash.

Guess what's in it.

If you said Cdex, and it's attendant output folder, you're right. I deliberately had kept beautifulGarbage on my hard drive. Because the CD is one of those stupid enhanced ones, and I *like* those songs.

Cue me nearly shrieking in rage.

I am seriously going to look into password-locking the screen saver. *mutter* Fucking cunts. You *ask* before deleting someone else's stuff.

So. The result of their petty little twittery (and hotmail.fucking.com was the homepage on Ieeeeeee yet again) is that I ripped 5 mp3s off Some Great Reward.

Fuck space issues.
