I didn't get the job.

Surprisingly, they seemed to really want me (nice ego boost). Unfortunately, I failed the Tech Support quiz. Multiple choice questions about Win 95/98 and the internet. Bah.

However, I can go back in 30 days and retake said quiz. I should pass, I'd think. *smuglook*

There weren't any openings in Customer Service. Hah.

So. Tech Support. In a month.

I am now, officially, shopped out. For at least a week. Visits to the comicbook store do not count.

Got a purple shirt, a black shirt... well, more than one black shirt. White jeans (hello, Angel), pretzels (for mum). And, of course, strappy gold sandals.

And some purpley fabric. I looked for red, sized it up and such. I think I need to hit a fabric store--none of what Wally world had was quite *right* for Stryfe. And I think Drea would object to curtains or sheets.

Got my grades today, too.

Expected the A in BASIC. Didn't expect the B in American Politics. I was expecting, at the highest, a C. Apparently, he liked me enough, even with my many absenses.

I now have a cumulative 3.01 GPA. Go, me. ;)

So. All things being equal, today turned out pretty damned spiffy. I have no Mitai here. She has an Epona. And I have no new keen job that pays twice what I earn now.

I guess I can't win everything.
