Did anyone one tape ER?

See, I was supposed to tape it for my mother. It was the ONLY thing she asked me to do while she was gone. And I forgot.

*bitter* I remembered it the next morning as I got out of bed. But I couldn't remember it on, like, Thursday, now could I. *mutter*

If you did, and would be willing to send it to me. I'll pay... In, um... Fic. Or the amount of mailing. Whichever.

Sigh.

So. Came home the other day (Wed, I think) to find the grass had been cut.

In and of itself, this is not a bad thing. But my mother happens to like the violets, so we weren't having it cut for a while.

I made nasty comments about the person who did it without asking the family's permission and bitched about the violets being gone, but didn't think about it much.

So. Ten minutes ago, the little brat from up the street who gets money from people by mowing their lawns comes by. I don't like the kid, never have, doubt I ever will. His way of getting paid? Instead of waiting for my parents to pay him, he constantly comes to the door. "Is your mom home?" "Is your dad home?" "When will he/she be back?"

In my view, the way to do this is NOT to bother people. Now, it doesn't always work. I know that. But I'd rather *wait* for someone to pay me than bother them.

Like, the lady who's cats I take care of. She's very forgetful, but always remembers in the end.

So.

Brat comes to the door.

Apparently, someone named "Captain" told him to mow the lawn, and that WE would pay for it.

Yeah. And my parents are nice enough to do so.

Fucking little bastard.

Same goes for whoever told him to do it.

Because it CERTAINLY wasn't anyone who actually, y'know, LIVED in this house.
