I am insane. Or an idiot. Name That Con, the convention that has caused me sooo much stress in the past, and was supposed to take a year off... Isn't. Partly because Mary Stadter is bored out of her skull with no Gateway to organise.

And partly because the Hospitality industry is hurting, so they've gotten cheap rates and offers from hotels.

As to why I'm insane: I'm insane because I've volunteered to run Hospitality this year. The room where they have free soda and snacks at a con--plus a place to just sit and relax and chat.

Uh-huh. I'm an idiot.

So, Mary's talking at the recent meeting, and she says, "And there aren't any other conventions the weekend of May 10-12th."

Gee, Mary, I guess you don't consider Wizard World East a convention, then. Even though it's probably going to be the fourth largest Comicbook Convention in the US.

Uhhuh. I should get out now, while I still have sanit... wait. I don't have any.

Anyway, folks. If you're not doing anything the weekend of May 10-12th (like, say, WWEast), and you wanna hang out with Lyssie, please wait for more info on hotel and registration fees and such.

I can't give any discounts, since if you wanna be on staff, you're going to have to actually, well, work. Unless you want to do that.

But you're not as insane as I am.

Wow. I had my last class today. Scary. The final exam is a week from today, at 8am.

I am so screwed.

Except for the part where I should get a damned A on the test. I am going to, by Rachel. No stupid frilly Askani people are going to ruin MY GPA.
