I am kicking myself.
Sunday night, I offered to work Monday night, since Jim was needing the time to make lots of desserts and stuff.
I also mentioned I was starting classes Tuesday morning.
Monday, I stayed up until about five, and called in to say I could work.
That night at work, roundabout 3ish, Jim came out and watered the lawns and stuff. We chatted a bit, I mentioned I was starting classes on Tuesday, at 9:30 am.
I get home from work, Tuesday morning at 7:30 am. And it hits me. I have to be up for class.
There is no way in hell it would work, though, since I was falling asleep on the way home, AND, I'd have to stay up, drive my sister to work, go to class, drive out and pick her up from work, drive home, change clothes, and go Right Back To Work at 3:30!
Granted, this was partially my fault for NOT making the connection. But it's also Don's fault for always assuming I can work.
I will apologise to both profs. And if they ask, I'll tell 'em the truth, "I'd have been snoring."
Even if I'd slept for a bit, I still wouldn't have been able to swing it. Hell, I tried, though. Set the alarm for about half an hour (when Kat would be up) and collapsed.
I don't even remember turning it off.
And there is no milk in the house.
*grouchy, grouchy*
Hrm. I could make coffee, though. Bet it would taste good with popcorn or Kix...
