For those who have been following my babycar saga, the slave clutch is fixed. Woohoo!
Apparently, it was under warranty, so when dad pointed out it'd failed in less than three months they replaced it for free. Score one for us.
On Monday, I take it back in so they can fix the water pump. 250 of my own cash to pay for it. But, DAMN, is it ever worth it. No more popping the hood before leaving in the morning and work.
No more constantly watching the heat gauge get up to the 3/4s mark and wincing.
And I can even run the ac now. Happysigh.
Caught MidSomer Murders on A&E tonight. About the only thing interesting on. I tried to watch Poirot. He's boring.
MSM is fun, though. I like figuring out the killer before they do. Of course, the characters are fun, too.
Tried to watch some other things, ended up bored.
I am so proud to find out that my tolerance for stupid tv has gotten so low. Used to be I could watch anything. Now I'm really picky.
Back.
That was wierd. Talked drinking alcohol with my youngest sister, Kat.
Back again.
An even longer chat. It's nice to have her home, I think. At least in my tired state I think it is.
It's weird to be able to say aloud, "I've been thinking about looking for a place."
I know it won't happen anytime soon (six months, at the least.). But it's certainly better than, "I don't think I'll ever be able to leave."
If my calculations are correct, it'd be easiest to get a roommate. Am actually considering my sister, Jenna (third child. Kat's the fourth. Gabe's the second).
Must chat with her sometime about this. I mean, we already share a car, so... Hrm.
Gah,. Lynx has decided I should write Katefic. Great. Yet another thing on the pile...
sigh.
Must sleep, I think. My typing has become atrocious.
Dude. I spelled atrocious without having to correct it.
Yay, me.
