I may have to steal that to title something...

Spent the day... Happy.

It started with me screwing up my alarm, and waking up at the time I was supposed to be picking Sarah up. So, called, let her know I'd be late.

Was still even later, since mom didn't bother putting any gas in the car. Yes, when it's on E, I tend to want more of that octane fuel in the tank.

So, got there, saw Sarah. We decided to be charitable and give the crazy Canadians a ride to the Metrolink station.

Mom's car is a Saturn. Not big, but not tiny.

We fit all four guys in the back.

*cackle*

I am very proud to say I did NOT get lost getting into the airport. Although I did get lost trying to get from the airport to the hotel (another reason I was late. sigh).

Damn. It's just hit me: I should have driven the guys to the North Hanley station. Fare is only $1.25 there. Instead of the massive $3.00 at the airport. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Oh, well. I HAD only had three/four hours of sleep.

Spent a nice relaxing time with Sarah. Went to Ted Drewes. Mutually cursed Tap not being available.

Then went to Union Station, where she spent forever deciding on a pair of sunglasses.

Ended up downtown where we walked to the Arch and took a few pics. And waited for the Canadians to meet her. They hadn't shown up by the time I left to head for work. I'm hoping they made it.

Work was boring. Read my comics. Yesss. Comics. 'Cause, Sarah and I also hit the quarter bins at Mo's Comics. *happysigh*

Gaiman's Lady Justice is growing on me. Although it's not always very well done (there are some pages that blow me away and others that look like they were plotted by someone who would know a wall if it smacked them on the nose.).

Also watched a butchered version of "A League of Their Own"...

Has anyone else noticed the recent trend of showing as many Tom Hanks movies as possible? On any given night, there will be at least two on.

Tonight, we had.... "A League..", "The Money Pit", and "Big"...

Sigh. Not that he's not a decent actor, but, geeze.

One nice thing about driving Mom's car... No need to continually put antifreeze in it.

Well, I think that's all.... ciao for now.

Oh. Btw, for people who are worried for my sanity, Andromeda is growing on me. I think it's Beka's fault.... Or maybe it's the dark-haired guy who has all the guns... Mmm. Guns...

"They were playing Wagner. Most fun I've had in six months."
